Team Competition

War of the Ring is a team competition for the Grey Havens which splits members into different teams according to the location they chose when joining. Each team has their own private forum at the Mithlond Forums.

How to Play

Each round lasts one month and during that month there are various activities and tasks for you to participate in so that you can earn points for your team as well as yourself. At the end of each month the points will be counted and the team with the most points wins. There will also be prizes for the other teams as well as standout individual members.

You must submit the points you earn on your own. The only exception is the points you gain when referring a new member - they will be done automatically. The point log on the main page will be updated every week and possibly in between.

The Divisions

Hobbiton, Rivendell, Lorien, Rohan, Gondor, Valinor
 

The Teams

Due to the lack of spread between the divisions, for the time being divisions will be placed together to form a larger team.

The Points

5 Points
1. Gain a new member to your team (automatic)
2. Donate a link buttons set
3. Create a member card
4. Refer a new member to Grey Havens (automatic)

10 Points
1. Donate a master badge set
2. Collect 12 member cards (then 24, 48, etc)
3. Complete a match in Circles of the World (only if it's a one to three card(s) match)
4. Complete a match in Hidden City
5. Master a normal deck
6. Master a special deck that contains 10 cards.

20 Points
1. Level up
2. Master a special deck that contains 20 cards.
3. Donate a level badge set
4. Enter a contest
5. Complete a trade rewards card
6. Complete a complete (four card) match in Circles of the World.
7. Complete a Second Breakfast quest.
8. Master a sprite set.
9. Master a premium card set.
10. Win an auction.

* Points can be stacked (ie. if you enter multiple contests, master multiple decks, etc etc)

Other Points
There will be other tasks that each team must complete where points will vary. There will be a about one-two events per round.

Rose Petals - If you complete Rose Petals you will earn 10 points for your team but you must follow the instructions on the prize page for Rose Petals to actually earn your points.

Donation Information

> You must follow the donation guidelines
> Quality is a must - it can't be thrown together just for the sake of earning points. If graphics aren't your thing, please do not submit a set - earn points some other way.
> Even if your donation wasn't used you will still earn the points.
 
Submit Points
Be specific when you state how you earned the points. Include the amount of points the task is worth and the task.
