Rules of the game

These are the basic rules that apply to The Grey Havens TCG so be sure to read through them and make sure you understand them.

Join Grey Havens

You must have a working website (in English or translatable) and e-mail address as well as a link back to The Grey Havens - either with your level badge or a link button. Also, your website cannot contain any offensive material and must be accessible without having to login (ie. livejournal). Your trade post for The Grey Havens must be up before you submit the join form.

When you join, choose a name that is unique but not outrageous. Check to see if your name is already taken - if it is and you do not want to pick a different name, simply add a number to the end of your name as far as how many others have used the name (ie. Ann is already taken, so I must use Ann2).

All members are required to maintain a detailed trade log with what cards/coupons/leaves/etc you earn. This is to verify how/what you earned so there are no disputes. Here is an example of a trade log if you are unsure of how it is done.

Simply stating "I played some games and received four cards" or any form of a vague account is unacceptable. The example given is minimal - the more detailed the better.

Concerning your cards, you must clearly indicate what cards you are collecting (keeping), trading, etc. This will allow other members to know what is available for trade and possibly trade you cards you need as well. You may clear your log after 4 months and start a new one.

Guidelines

1. Do not cheat. I do not tolerate it so if you are caught you will be removed from the TCG. Cheating includes, but is not limited to: refreshing the rewards page to gain cards in your favor, signing up with multiple accounts, taking unearned cards, sharing answers to games, etc. There is no point in joining if you intend to cheat.
2. Update at least once a month. If you are found to be inactive you will be moved to an inactive trading level and notified once that you have a week before you are at risk of being removed. Also, if anything comes up where you must go on hiatus, please let me know.
3. This TCG is heavily forum based so you must join the forum once you become a member. It is the only way you can earn your rewards for leveling up, mastering a deck, etc. It is not required for you to be active in the sense of chatting. In addition there are other incentives while participating at the forum. When you register at the forum, you must use the same name you used for your member name.
4. You cannot take any freebies from any updates posted before the date you submit the join form.
5. Do not direct link any graphics from this site. This includes cards, badges, link buttons, etc.
6. Treat others with respect. This goes for when you wish to trade with a member. If they do not wish to trade, please do not harass them. Also, don't assume that by asking to trade they will.
