Donations

Badges, Link Buttons and Decks

You can donate level badges, link buttons and deck images to the TCG and earn rewards. If your donation is not used you will still be rewarded the prize. Also, please ensure you are submitting graphics of equal or better quality in comparison to the graphics in the TCG. If you need reference, look at the link buttons, badges and decks that are offered.

Quality Guide

1. All donations must be of good quality but just remember to do your best.
2. In most graphic programs there are ways to resize proportionately. Manually in Adobe Photoshop you can use the shift key to maintain proportions. Graphic programs in general should have an option for maintaining aspect ratio (check the box to preserve the image's proportions).
3. Make sure you spell everything correctly (The Grey Havens as well as the levels).
4. Save your graphics in the highest quality possible.

Level Badges

1. Level badges consist of a set containing 18 badges for the 18 levels (Prologue through Black Gate). You are not required to make badges for the Master Levels or Starter Level.
2. Must be 240x100
3. In .gif, .jpg or .png format, no animations
4. Must include "The Grey Havens" and the level.
5. Must be Lord of the Rings related (book or movie)
6. File named as [levelname]_[yourname][donation number] (example: hobbiton_monica01.gif, bree_monica01.gif). After your first set of donated badges add 02 after your name, etc.
7. Do not use the same image(s) as another level badge set unless you drastically alter it from the other set (ie. use of textures, patterns, font, etc).
8. Images on the badges do not have to relate exactly to the level due to the limited availability of "scene images". You can submit a badge set with a theme (ie. elves).

You may only donate two sets of level badges per month and you will receive 6 random normal cards.

Master Badges

1. Master badges consist of a set containing 4 badges of different card sets.
2. Must be 100x68
3. In .gif, .jpg or .png format, no animations
4. Must include some form of Set Name Master (ie. Aragorn Master or Mastered Hobbiton).
5. Must be Lord of the Rings related (book or movie)
6. File named as [setname]master_[yourname][donation number] (example: hobbitonmaster_monica01.gif). After your first set of donated badges add 02 after your name, etc.
7. Do not use the same images as another master badge set unless you drastically alter it from the other set (ie. use of textures, patterns, font, etc).
8. If you want to submit a master badge for sets such as puzzle sets or the Mirror deck, ensure that you use an image relevant to the puzzle (ie. the actual puzzle image) or the image used in the layout.

You may only donate four sets of master badges per month and you will receive 2 random normal cards and 20 Lorien leaves.

Link Buttons

1. You must submit a link buttons set containing 4 link buttons.
2. Must be 88x15, 88x31 or 100x35
3. In .gif, .jpg or .png format - can be animated
4. Must include "The Grey Havens"
5. File named as [yourname][buttonnumber]_[button size] (example: monica01_88x31.gif, monica02_88x31.gif). If you submit 4 link buttons, your button numbers would include 01, 02, 03, 04. When you submit another set it would be 05-08.
6. Do not use the same images as another link button that has been submitted even if you choose to use various textures, patterns, fonts, etc.
7. Images have to be Lord of the Rings related (book or movie)
8. E-mail the link buttons to me at ghavenstcg[@]gmail.com - you can send each separately as an attachment

You may only donate four sets of link buttons per a month and you will receive 1 random card per set and 10 Lorien leaves.

Puzzle Icons

1. You must submit an icon set containing 6 icons.
2. Must be 100x100
3. In .gif, .jpg or .png format
4. Can have any text or none at all
5. Icons should be Lord of the Rings related. Do not use fanart unless you're given permission to do so.
6. Icons in a set must be different and not variants of each other (ie. using the same image but different textures) Also make sure the image reaches to each side of the icon. There can't be any color dominance because it is being turned into a puzzle.

You may only donate four sets per a month and you will receive 1 choice normal card, 3 random normal cards

Deck Images

1. Make sure you check the thread at the forum to see if the deck has been claimed or not. If it hasn't been claimed post a reply to reserve the deck(s).
2. Once your name is listed next to the deck in the list you may donate.
3. Donate at least 25-30 high quality images.
4. Include the images in a ZIP or RAR file.
5. Do not resize, edit, etc the images.
6. Make sure if you are donating for a scene that the images go in sequential order (and are saved in the order in which they occur).
7. For character/actor decks try to get a variety (not just from the same photoshoot. Also, try not to include images of the actor/actress in another character role.
8. E-mail the zip or rar file to me at ghavenstcg[@]gmail.com

You may only donate four decks per a month and you will receive 1 choice normal card, 3 random normal cards, 1 card from the deck and 100 Lorien leaves.
